Elland Engineering firm rapidly expanding to support national and international growth plans.

Engineering specialists ENCO Ltd is to expand its workforce to support the firms national and international growth plans. The Elland-based firm has already taken on 13 highly skilled employees over the past nine months and intends to recruit a further five over the coming months, expanding their ever growing team.

The launch earlier this year of a new 12,000 sq ft workshop in the town, has significantly increased the engineering firm’s capacity. The business is looking to recruit a quality manager, commission based sales associates and referral agents, welders, pipe-fitters and fabricators to allow the company to support its expansion and to continue to develop within in its field.

Company director and owner of ENCO Ltd, Jamie Moody, said, “Although we are at an exciting stage of development and expansion, we have never lost sight of our core family values. We are determined to create a positive environment for all our employees. We have a very low turnover of staff, this is testament to their commitment to the business as well as our investment in employee engagement. We work closely from the management down to the shop floor with regular communications and team building exercises.

“I am from the local area, and feel privileged to be able to offer employment locally to people from the area. There are big plans being drawn up for Elland which we are very excited about and hope to be able to support within our own growth plans.”

Enco Ltd, which was started by founders Jamie Moody and Joanne Hart from a small unit in Greetland in 2009, has grown exponentially and now employs more than 40 people across their two Elland sites. They work with clients including ICS Cool Energy, Eurosite Power, Veolia and The Weir Group, manufacturing and installing large fabrications, skids, tanks and vessels in major sites across the UK and internationally, including prestigious locations such as Somerset House in London.

ENCO Ltd has built up a reputation for excellent pipework and general fabrication and welding skills. The new workshop provides a three high-bay specification, with two ten tonne and one five tonne crane with further upgrades planned, providing the capacity for heavy fabrication work all welded in accordance with BS EN and ASME standards.
