The Halifax Cricket League is very pleased to announce that it has agreed a three-year main sponsorship with the mechanical services company, ENCO Ltd, based at Bridgefield Works, Elland. The sponsorship will cover season’s 2020, 2021 & 2022 with an option for further years.
The League’s PR & Media Officer, Paul Whiteley, commented ‘We are very pleased to be associated with Enco, particularly through its managing director, Jamie Moody, who has a long association with the League through his playing career at Greetland, Southowram and Sowerby Bridge cricket clubs. Sport sponsorship is consistently moving forward, especially via on-line marketing, and amongst other benefits Enco is keen to tap into is the League’s excellent website that averages 22,000 hits per week during the season.’
Moody said ‘Enco Ltd is committed to supporting the local community and, in particular, amateur sport in the region which is a cause very close to my heart. Our involvement with local cricket helps us to be further involved and support our links with people and companies in the local neighbourhood. We would like to wish each and every team and player in the Enco Halifax Cricket League all the best for the 2020 season and beyond.’
Enco Ltd takes over after four years of sponsorship from the Halifax based chartered accountants and business advisors, Spenser Wilson, and the League is pleased to record its grateful thanks to it and also report that the company will continue to support the League in other areas.
